OUR ROSEIRA BRAVA PROJECT
SINCE 2000 WITH PARSON RUSSELL TERRIER UNTIL WHIPPET
We are Paulo Coelho and Clive Thoms and we started to show dogs in 2001 with Parson Russell Terriers, our first breed.
We started our breeding project at that time, with the Roseira Brava affix. Our PRTs were a lot of fun, we enjoyed some success and made a lot of friends all over the world. In 2006 we were given our first whippet, who arrived aged eight weeks and introduced us to the breed. It was a completely different breed and a new challenge which we embraced enthusiastically. We had our first litter in 2009 and although we have had only a few more since then (seven in total), we have had excellent results in Portugal, and more recently in Europe, with dogs of our own breeding, which has encouraged us to carry on. We have made many friends, including some very close friends. We are grateful for their kindness, generosity and support.
In the past few years, Clive has been handling our dogs in Portugal, whilst I have been busy preparing and training to be a judge.

We started out as breeders and in the show world with Parson Russell Terriers.We bought our first dog in the UK in 2000 and were active in the breed until recently. Dogs bred and shown by us have won titles in Portugal, Spain, Gibraltar, the United States, Finland and Slovenia.
Our last litter was born in 2013.
